Conflict Resolution Kevin Duffey
BIOGRAPHY Mr. Duffy is a lifelong public safety professional, trainer and educator with extensive experience in the online learning environment. He created his first online instructor-led asynchronous classes in 1996 and published a book on how to create and teach classes online in 1997. As the assistant chair of the Criminal Justice Technology Bridge program at Daytona State College, Mr. Duffy has created engaging online college courses in Criminal Justice, most recently redesigning all but one course to operate without a textbook. He understands the online learning environment from every angle - student, teacher, designer and programmer. Mr. Duffy holds a B.S. in Technical Vocational Education and an M.A. in Instructional Technology, both from the University of Central Florida in Orlando. In addition to academic pursuits, Mr. Duffy is a certified law enforcement officer in the State of Florida with forty years experience; he is also an active sports car race driver building and driving his own Porsche race cars in the Southeaster United States.
