Tom Mason started working at Santa Fe College in 1998 as adjunct ESOL Instructor. He is now the Advisor for Santa Fe College’s Construction and Technical Programs. Tom has long specialized in serving at-risk student populations and enjoys the challenges of preparing today’s adult learners for the 21st Century workforce. Tom has been active in his local AFC chapter for over ten years and is currently Chapter Past President and Vice President for Regions and Chapters.

Tracy Payne
Adjunct Faculty
Hillsborough Community College

Tracy Payne earned her doctorate from Vanderbilt University in Teaching, Learning, and Diversity with a specialization from the Experimental Education Research and Training Program sponsored by the Institute of Education Sciences. Her area of expertise is children’s math development and she is passionate about helping teachers of young children engage in math activity that builds a strong foundation for mathematical thinking and reasoning. She is a Head Start Scholar having been awarded a two-year research grant from the Administration for Children and Families to implement her own mathematics intervention in Head Start classrooms.
